Procurement Global Specialist Ariba

Our Procurement organization is committed to the highest standards and aims to deliver best-in-class services that support Nouryon strategic objectives by continuously improving our spend-down program. In order to achieve this we are strengthening and centralizing Procurement to better leverage its commercial buying power, increase procurement involvement and better fit our current and future business needs.

Within the Procurement organization we have a Procurement Excellence Team that support the category managers and the buyers globally with market insights and reporting as well as broader Strategic Sourcing support. In this team we have an opportunity for a Global Specialist Ariba.

Ariba just went live for the Nouryon Procurement organization The objective of the job is to initiate and enable superior use of Ariba rfi/rfp/auction globally

The role

You will frequently travel into the regions to:

• Educate, motivate and stimulate the use of Ariba rfi/rfp/ auction
• Be the global go to person with regard to Ariba rfi/rfp/ auction
• Analyze the use of Ariba rfi/rfp/ auctions
• Being the liaison between category management and Procurement Excellence Team with regard to Ariba rfi/rfp/ auction

• Master degree, preferably in business sciences
• Strong experience as a keyuser or with the implementation of Ariba
• We are looking for a strong communicator who is comfortable working in teams.
• You can sell ideas, concepts and programs to up and down the relevant Nouryon organizations
• You have the ability to work under minimal supervision with broad direction
• You can perform, understand and communicate detailed information analysis and evaluation
• You have very good English language skills
