Category Manager PCB’s Eindhoven region (hybrid)
The Role
As a Category Manager PCB, you make an important contribution to the execution of the business strategy:
- You will develop and implement sourcing strategies for the assigned category PCB’s, designed to support the identified business needs and targets in line with the Global Procurement Strategy ;
- You will monitor the external market to explore new business models and innovation, identify potential new suppliers, assess best sourcing alternatives and industry best practices and consequently build up deep expertise around the products and services within scope.
- Actively engage with key stakeholders from different Operating Companies to understand business requirements and incorporate them into the supplier selection and decision making process;
- Build strong relationships with manufacturers and distributors.
- Work closely with stakeholders to align technical and commercial requirements, secure total costs and inculcate long-term partnership with key suppliers;
- Develop plans for the short-term and long-term security of supply.
- Manage supplier performance from a QLTC perspective
- Lead the team of buyers
You will have exposure to high level business decision making and the chance to work with various stakeholders. Amongst them: a global procurement team , suppliers, site planners & senior management. On top of that you’ll have the opportunity to drive and lead global continuous improvement projects.
Location: Eindhoven region (hybrid)
Requirements
To be eligible for this strategic challenging position we think you’ll have a minimum of 5 years experience with strategic procurement and category management, advanced strategic thinking skills & extensive negotiation experience. On top of that strong analytical skills and a Bachelor or Master’s degree related to the industry.
Furthermore, you have/are:
- Comprehensive experience of working with international sourcing across regions in complex environment.
- Strong stakeholder management & capability to build strong internal and external relationships.
- Fluent in English, both verbal as well as in writing.
