The role

The supply chain within the high-tech industry is very challenging, especially with Neways' ambitious growth objectives. It is important to efficiently structure and maintain the supply chain, from collaboration with suppliers to the final delivery to our customers. Your mission will be to optimize the supply chain based on dynamic customer demand.

What will you do as a Supply Chain Manager?

As a Supply Chain Manager, you are part of the Management Team (MT) of Neways Expanding Technologies. You will be responsible for (re)designing the supply chain, focusing on existing and new customers. Based on your future vision of the supply chain, you will develop a multi-year plan with departmental objectives to develop the departments and achieve results. Taking Neways' strategy as a starting point, you will develop appropriate logistics concepts for the customer. In this role, you will directly lead the Purchasing Manager, the Logistics Manager, and the Supply Chain Engineer. Together with them and Neways Corporate Procurement and Logistics, you will ensure further development of the supply chain organization, both in terms of employees and practices. In total, you will have approximately 25 indirect reports, divided among operational and tactical buyers and planners. In this role, you will report directly to the Managing Director.

Your tasks also include:

  • Further developing the departments in collaboration with the managers, where coaching and guidance play an important role;
  • Responsible for the correct information and performance data regarding the logistics processes;
  • In this role, you maintain close contact with colleagues from other Neways opererating companies and the Corporate organization, actively seeking collaborations;

Your profile

  • A completed bachelor's or master's degree in a business, logistics, or technical field;
  • An inspiring leader who can create networks and collaborations to innovate and improve business performance;
  • Experienced in setting up the supply chain and have gained some years of experience in a managerial role;
  • Capable of developing teams;
  • Strong in processes with a clear vision of the supply chain, focusing on continuous improvement;
  • Results-oriented, driving output while maintaining a focus on people.
  • Decisive;
  • Excellent communication skills, with an open and engaging personality.
